Hello, I’m Josh Fishburn. I’m a game designer, teacher, tinkerer, artist, and perpetual beginner. I teach game design and programming in the Interactive Multimedia Department at The College of New Jersey. I am especially passionate about introducing programming to people who think they aren’t programmers.

So what’s this then? It’s the beginnings of a completely new website. It’ll be the home for what I’m working on, including resources for students and documentation of my own work.

The website itself is a document of my learning of the Hugo Static Site Generator, which I am learning as an excuse to tinker and experiment with what a personal website can be in 2019. This page is the first brick in what I hope becomes a useful resource for myself (because while I take lots of notes, I don’t do a good job of putting them together in a sensible place), my students, and others.
